 Dohuk January 28 (AKnews) - The Coordinator of Shams Network for monitoring Elections in Dohuk, has announced that his network has been setting the agenda since two months to train observers as a preparation for the observation mission of the network in Iraq. Mr. Badil Abdul Baki has told Kurdistan News (AKnews) today," Under a plan developed in coordination Shams and the National Democratic Institute- A US based NGO- have been identification for the main tasks of the network, and preparations have begun in the 15 of this month and continue until the 15 of March. Mr. Abdul Baki further explained that 10 team leaders would be appointmented for each province in six days from organizations that make up Shams Network. The names of those team leaders will be sent to the head office in Erbil. He also added that “our network had recruited 2750 observers for the whole of Iraq and the observation process will be conducted using telephone lines and not through conventional methods by using forms. According to Mr. AbdulBaki this new technique which is called (PVT) is used for the first time to monitor the elections of Iraqi parliament through which the network can see the results after the elections one hour before the IHEC or any other party ". It is worth noting that Shams has 19 offices, including two offices in Baghdad, and 17 offices in other Iraqi provinces.
