في اجتماع تشاوري بتاريخ (٢٤/٨/٢٠٢١) ضم ممثلين من مكتب حقوق الانسان و يونامي (بعثة الامم المتحدة لمساعدة العراق ) و ممثلين عن شبكات مراقبة الانتخابات و مثلت شبكة شمس كلاً من (هناء حمود عباس / عضو مجلس الإدارة و منسق الوسط) و ( علي بخت / مسؤول علاقات مع جهات الرسمية )، وتم تداول الاستعدادات لمراقبة العملية الانتخابية من كلا الجانبين، حيث ان اختصاص اليونامي مراقبة انتهاكات حقوق الانسان في يوم الانتخابات، اما شبكات المراقبة الانتخابية فأختصاصها هو مراقبة طويلة الامد لسير العملية الانتخابية
