عقد المكتب التنفيذي لشبكة الانتخابات في العالم العربي اجتماعه الأول في أربيل يوم الاثنين 10 نوفمبر 2025، على هامش انتخابات مجلس النواب العراقي، وتم خلاله مناقشة وإقرار خطة عمل الشبكة لعام 2026 لتطوير العمل المؤسسي، وتأمين التمويل، وتفعيل دور الأعضاء.واستضافت شبكة شمس الاجتماع، بحضور رئيس الشبكة د. نظام عساف وترؤسه المدير التنفيذي هوكر جيتو، بالإضافة إلى أعضاء المكتب التنفيذي: د. غولشان صلغام، أحمد علوش، سالم قبيلات، عاصم شيا، ماجد داوي وأكرم حسو.وتأسست الشبكة عام 2006 بمبادرة من مركز عمان لدراسات حقوق الإنسان، وتضم 16 منظمة وشبكة مجتمع مدني متخصصة بالانتخابات، وقد نفذت 33 مراقبة انتخابية في 12 دولة عربية، بمشاركة قرابة 70 مراقباً دولياً وآلاف المراقبين المحليين.
The Executive Office of the Arab World Elections Network held its first meeting in Erbil on Monday, November 10, 2025, on the sidelines of the Iraqi parliamentary elections. During the meeting, the network’s 2026 work plan was discussed and approved, focusing on institutional development, securing funding, and activating the role of members.Shams Network hosted the meeting, attended by the network’s President, Dr. Nizam Assaf, and chaired by Executive Director Hawkar Jito, along with Executive Office members: Dr. Gulshan Salgham, Ahmed Aloush, Salem Qubailat, Asim Shia, Majid Dawe, and Akram Haso.Founded in 2006 by the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies, the network includes 16 organizations and civil society networks concerned wholly or partly with elections. Since its establishment, it has conducted 33 election observation missions in 12 Arab countries, involving around 70 international observers and thousands of trained local observers.
