نفذت شبكة تحالف الأقليات العراقية، بدعم من شبكة شمس وبالتنسيق مع مفوضية الانتخابات / مكتب أربيل، منتدى خاصاً بالأقليات وذوي الإعاقة، وذلك في قاعة شبكة الأقليات العراقية في عنكاوة.
شهد المنتدى مشاركة ممثلين عن الأقليات وذوي الإعاقة في محافظة أربيل، بهدف تعزيز التوعية الانتخابية وتشجيع مشاركة هذه الفئات في انتخابات مجلس النواب القادمة والمقررة في 11 تشرين الثاني 2025.
واستعرض الأستاذ هوگر، رئيس شبكة شمس، فكرة المشروع وأهدافه في دعم المشاركة الانتخابية وضمان شمولية العملية الديمقراطية. كما قدم مدربو مفوضية الانتخابات في أربيل شرحاً مفصلاً عن الإجراءات القانونية والتنظيمية لسير العملية الانتخابية، مؤكدين التزام المفوضية بضمان الشفافية والنزاهة وفق القوانين النافذة.
وفي ختام المنتدى، أتيحت الفرصة للمشاركين لطرح أسئلتهم واستفساراتهم على ممثلي المفوضية، حيث تركزت المداخلات حول آليات سير العملية الانتخابية وآخر المستجدات المتعلقة بالانتخابات البرلمانية المقبلة.
